Los Hnos. Jimenez Recordings
de Agustin Gurza, 07/24/2018 - 16:35Dear Abel:
Thanks so much for your interest in our collection. Can you tell us a little more about your brother-in-law and Los Hnos. Jimenez. Where were they from? Were they all brothers? Any relation to Santiago and Flaco Jimenez from San Antonio?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide copies of the songs from our collection. We are a library, and we are not authorized to sell or duplicate the recordings. You can listen to full versions of some songs on the Frontera Collection YouTube channel, at:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA8CN8Z0Iwk2y_pfhOw4V8Qponible.
In addition, you can also find many songs from the collection on compilations released by Arhoolie Records, many of which are available for audio download through Smithsonian Folkways at their site: https://tinyurl.com/y7eac4dn.
Sincerely,
Agustin Gurza, Editor, The Frontera Collection

de Abel De Leon (not verified), 07/22/2018 - 21:21My brother-in-law was one of the band members and brothers to this group. I noticed you have a whole collection of these records. It has been difficult finding these particularly. Do you sell these records?
