Notes & History
Thank you
de Ernesto Duenas (not verified), 07/18/2020 - 15:17The reason I asked about the B-side is because I have a "promo" copy of the 45. My uncle played bass on this track and the copy of the record has the same label on both sides, but the song title on both sides says "Agua Mansa" and is scratched off. Your posted excerpt helps confirm "Amor Necio" for me, but I didn't know what was the title of the other side, but in listening to the lyrics, and you telling me the title "Mis Ojitos" has now confirmed it. Thank you!
B-Side Information
de Agustin Gurza, 06/30/2020 - 19:47Ernesto:
The B-Side of this single is "Mis Ojitos," also by Los Rayos del Valle. Click on the title to go to that song. You'll see that this side has a label image, unlike the other side with no image. It often helps to see the label itself.
You've hit on a problem with the site's functionality, which I hope will be fixed soon. As it stands, you have to dig through the artist's catalog, then sort by the catalog number to find the titles on both sides of a single. Pretty cumbersome. I'm hoping that a future version will allow the user to flip the label image to instantly see what's on the other side of a record, which is often a key question for collectors and record-lovers alike.
Thanks again for your interest in the music of our archive.
