I'm also very pleased that you were able to find your father's last song in the Frontera Collection. It underscores the value of preserving this music for the people who made it and loved it, as well as for the rest of the music world.
Just a couple questions: Was your father a performer as well? Did he record any music?

Fathers last song
de Maria L ORTIZ (not verified), 08/27/2021 - 06:45Buenos dias, My father Elpidio loved to sing all his life. Most songs were from Pedro Infante and Jorge Negrete. The last year of his life 2017, he talked less and sang more. The last month of his life he kept singing one particular song. All we would hear is "Ay, como gozo" and "Ay, como gozo." No one ever heard my dad sing this song. We asked friends in Mariachis if they knew this song and no. We wanted to play this for his funeral 02/20/2017 and no results. 4 years later, I finally found the song on your website! You don't know what joy it brought me! I just would like to thank you for bringing my daddy back just by listening to "Ay, como gozo!"
