Response to Rudy-Ray y Los Chicanos
de Agustin Gurza, 08/25/2021 - 22:31Hello Gilbert and Raymond:
Thanks for your interest in the music of Rudy-Ray, a duo composed of your father and uncle, if I'm not mistaken. We have four of their singles (eight songs) in our database which you can find here.
Unfortunately, we do not have any of the music for sale, only for library use over the Internet. You can hear full versions of the songs by visiting any UC campus library. In addition, you may be able to find complete songs by checking the Arhoolie Foundation's Frontera Collection page on Youtube, although not every song is posted there yet.
Thanks again for your interest.

Rudy-Ray Y Los Chicanos
de Raymond Vasquez (not verified), 06/02/2021 - 14:20Hi, Raymond Vasquez was my dad and Rudy Vasquez was my father. Both are deceased now and I have been looking for their old records for a long time. My sister just told me about this site today. I was wondering how I could get copies of their old records such as ESO, Aqua De No Se Que, Si Tienes Corazon, Deja Esa Copa, Ay Chavela, Sopita De Camaron, Entierame, and Alma Rendida. It would mean a great deal to me if you could find these for me. I am trying to make digital copies for my family. Thank you!
