Staff Notes: Spottswood list the matrix number as SA 2311-1. The second part of this corrido Sanchez got away from the two bandits and went to the police to report what had happened. He was taken to the hospital because he was badly injured. The next morning the detectives started to investigate the crime scene and found the dead bodies of the bandits who it turns out were wanted for other robberies. In court, Sanchez told what happened and was not charged with any crime. The 24 year old hardworking Sanchez got a lot of praise in the press as well as from the town.
