This corrido depicts a bad relationship between a woman (wife) and her mother in-law who does not like her. Due to the mother in-law’s unfounded declartion of betrayel and adultery, her son murders his wife by first shooting her and than stabbing her, which he ultimately claims was accidental in court. The time is set around revolutionary times around 1910.
