Discos Aguila & Discos Azteca
by Agustin Gurza, 02/15/2019 - 18:02Dear Omar: Thanks for you interest in our collection and for your interesting question. I have forwarded your message to the owner of the collection, Chris Strachwitz, who is much more familiar with the local label histories. I will let you know if and when I get any information about these record companies.
Let me know if you come to UCLA, and I'll show you around the center, where you can hear full versions of the songs, not just snippets.
Hope all is well in Tenochtitlan.

Discos Aguila & Discos Azteca
by Omar Carmona X (not verified), 02/12/2019 - 09:09Hey there. While searching for recordings on this humongous database I noticed that this recording is also on a 33 rpm vinyl under Azteca label. So my question is: Was the Aguila label part of Azteca or Azteca bought Aguila catalog and records? Any information is very appreciated.
Greetings from México City. I hope to someday soon visit Chicano Center @ UCLA.
