Notes & History
Los Oros Del Valle
by Jose Luis Escamilla (not verified), 06/29/2022 - 10:17The band members were my family. It includes my grandfather Bernardo Escamilla, uncle Bernardo Escamilla Jr., cousin Julian Moreno and their friend Cesar Galaviz. I think my cousin has a photo of the band. They had a radio show where they would perform live every Thursday evening on KGBT in McAllen Texas. I would love to get a digital copy of both recordings if at all possible. We have carried on the torch for the love of music and have our own group in Michigan keeping the Norteno and Tejano music going strong.
