OFELIA BITAR
by Agustin Gurza, 03/26/2020 - 22:09Andrea:
Thanks for getting in touch with us and letting us know about your grandmother. I glad you were able to find this recording in our collection. She has a beautiful voice.
I see this record was released locally in Los Angeles and produced by Enrique Elizondo, an active and well-known producer for decades. I wonder if your grandmother had any other recordings. This is the only single in our archives.
Hope to speak to you soon.
Regards,
Agustín Gurza, Editor, The Frontera Collection
Ofelia Bitar is My Grandmother
by Andrea Lopez (not verified), 03/25/2020 - 17:05I love that you have this song! Ofelia Bitar is my grandmother. She is 85 years old. She still plays her guitar and sings any chance she gets. I am sure she would love to be in contact with you regarding her other recordings.
Please reach out if you would be interested :) Thank you in advance!
