The story of this corrido
by Carlos M. (not verified), 12/15/2015 - 20:58This corrido is about (a shootout between) Segundo Peña Cantu and Armando Guerrero, which actually took place on June 13th. Segundo Peña was walking to a Café to go eat and when he asked for that beer, he didn't realize the surprise that was about to walk into the Café. When Armando walked in, Segundo saw him and since they both had conflicts with each other, Segundo was prepared to shoot him if need be. And from the testimony of witnesses there that day, they say when Armando walked in and walked up to him, that he didn't hesitate, that he just pulled out his gun and fatally shot him. After seeing him laid out on the ground, he yelled out " I killed Segundo Peña". Which eventually led to his arrest and incarceration.
