Re: Rarity of Album

I had never since this album before, but I did recognize the label name, DLB Records. That’s a San Antonio label founded by songwriter and producer Salome Gutierrez, who also founded the landmark Del Bravo Record Shop in 1966. The store is still open and run by the family of the late businessman. Searching their website I found the same album you’re inquiring about, but on CD (DLB-1013) with a different cover, showing a portrait of the duo, Toby Torres and a very young-looking Flaco Jimenez. The CD carries a date of 1973-2007, which I assume are the respective release dates of the LP and CD.
I suggest you contact the Del Bravo store and ask them directly about this release. You can order records and other merchandise on their website, where they also have contact information. Click on the links to got to the respective pages.

Do you know if this record is rare? I own a copy and other than this website I can find very little information online. Any details would be greatly appreciated.
