About Adding Dates
by Agustin Gurza, 03/11/2020 - 15:11Dear Jay:
We normally include dates related to recordings if available. They are often printed on the label itself as a year of release. The recording date is different from the release date, and is almost never specified on the labels. Other specific dates may be included in the Notes section, added by the staff. Unfortunately, the information is not consistent and not readily available in many cases.
We hope to continue to fill in more information for each recording, where possible. Thanks for your interest in our collection.

How about adding a date?
by Jay Noxodas (not verified), 03/06/2020 - 12:07The date, or at least the year, of recording or publishing of particular songs or discs would be a useful bit of information to add to this catalog.
