Como Te Extraño Mi Amor - Freddie Fender Con Los Streamliners

Como Te Extraño Mi Amor

This is an alternate version of the song “Como Te Extraño Mi Amor”, which was not released and so, I added the prefix “UN-” to the existing Release number, along with “_Alt” after the Release number (to denote alternate version), strictly for cataloguing purposes. This cut is not slated, as this is a prepared / edited Reel. I assigned the “Ideal Tape #” as “PC-1127”, simply for cataloguing purposes, by combining the prefix “PC-” (for Protection Copy) to the next chronological number, in the order which I have been using for all of these Tapes that do not have an actual “Ideal Tape #” written on them. The actual Tape Box has 2 dates on the “Tape Legend” which is secured to the front of the box, as this Reel has 2 different “sets” of songs, the first 4 being “Gilguero Records” Releases, and the remaining 8 cuts are listed as Ideal Records. The typewritten Gilguero tracks have “9-20-64” as their date, while the Ideal cuts have the handwritten date of “10-8-64”. The Tape spine has a 3rd date, which is “7-20-64”. Cuts 9 and 10 have been removed from this Reel and sent to “ILP” on “4-27-65”, per handwritten note on the front of the Tape Box.
