Corrido De La Madre Conchita - Los Hermanos Bañuelos

This corrido is about the sentencing of Madre Conchita of 20 years for the death of Alvaro Obregon. This corrido makes it a point of not defending her but just telling the story. According to another corrido “Corrido De Toral” by Trovadores Tapatios (Vocalion 8220), Madre Conchita was sentenced for collaborating with José de León Toral to the murder, but this corrido states that she was responsible for the murder.
