Response to MY MOM WAS THE WOMEN IN RED
by Agustin Gurza, 07/16/2021 - 17:02Hola Lennys Delgado:
Thanks for letting us know that your mom appears on the cover of Ramito's cassette. Just curious: Did your mom perform on this recording? And where is your family from?
I love Puerto Rican country music, which was one of the foundations of the salsa music boom of the 1970s in New York. I have one of the song's from this collection, "Si No Me Dan de Beber" on an album by the legendary Gran Combo.
Cheers,
Agustín Gurza, Editor, The Frontera Collection
