Sound Quality
by Agustin Gurza, 03/11/2020 - 18:25Hi Frank:
The audio on our website is transferred digitally directly from the recording held in the physical collection. In this case, the track was transferred from a 33-rpm album on Sunglow, an independent label based in Texas. The condition of the LP is described as VG+ by the staff member who did the transfer.
To my ear, the sound is not terrible. The voices and the accordion are clear, and there is very little static or background noise. May I suggest you try other tracks from the same album, perhaps on a different device, and see if it sounds better. I'm listening on my iMac and the sound is acceptable.
Thanks for listening carefully!
