This corrido is about Magdaleno Dimas and Benjamín Rodríguez who were beaten by rangers that were protecting the interests of a wealthy melon farmer, as both men were union organizers. This took place in June, 1967 in Star County, Texas. CD contains a 24 page booklet with research notes, pictures and Track Listing, while actual CD itself contains transcriptions and translations (which are embedded), and can be accessed through one’s computer. This cut was originally released by Oro, and appeared as: OR 230-A.
